She made her debut TV show appearance as a contestant on the reality dance show Dance India Dance (season 3) in 2011.
After her appearance on Dance India Dance, she assisted dancer and choreographer Remo D’Souza as an assistant choreographer on several films such as Student Of The Year, Dedh Ishquiya, and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
As an actress, Mohena made her debut as Sara in Dil Dostii Dance in 2015.
